The stucco is thin one coat stucco with a synthetic finish. The basecoat is only about 1/4". Conventional stucco has a thickness of at least 3/4"

The metal lath and corner beads were made for interior use. The lath is so rusty it is like a paper film. The chimney failed first because of the chimney shoulders. The rest of the house was done this way and should start falling apart soon.
